Creating again

I've had a bit of time out of Crafting due to my running & painting Furniture taking over. But thanks to Fiskarettes I'm back crafting and made my first Christmas Card.

Bumped into this .....

Whilst browsing I came across this site and wanted to share it with you. How lovely are their things? :) Oh & I love this journal
It is an American site so i'm still trying to figure out some of the things used....I find it quite puzzling USA use English but it doesn't always translate to 'Our english' :) Can't seem to find a UK blog for them :(

Kraft cardstock & embellies etc..

Just a quick layout that i did a few weeks ago.
I hand drew the anchor & cut it out. i love Kraft colours at the moment they go with everything including more kraft :)

Most of you would of seen this on facebook but i thought i would put it on my blog so i could track back in years to come if you had to start paying for Facebook or something !
I have never made a cke before ....well thats a lie , i've made cakes and spread butter icing on them for my kids but I've never made a so called grown up cake. I was quite pleased with the results apart from the advice i was given about the paint was naff ! The dark brown started to drip about 1/2 hour later after making it. It didn't dry so was tacky :( But it tasted lush and wasn't a complete disaster :)

I'm going to be a better blogger

I want to start blogging a little more. I don't seem to put anything I do on the net lately. Today is the first day I have created 3 l/os in one day for a very long time. So I have put one of the layouts on to get me started.

Well I've gone & done it lol

I am now officially a part of the New DT over at The Crafty garden's blog

It is very exciting and a great idea as I need to get back into Crafting again.I haven't done nearly as much crafting as I would of liked lately. I only have to post once a month...Which is ideal.
I love working to a Deadline & sure i'll be inspired by the other Fabby ladies on the DT too.

I have been looking at the Blog & there are some great challenges coming up.

Boot Camp , Prague & Planks

I just wanted to jot this down for my own reference I've started Bootcamp & i think i'm on my 6th session today.I went to Prague for my 40th Birthday last week. No kids (which was a little bit of a shame)but we walked so much they would of hated it, I ended up loosing 2lb whilst away but would of been a lot more if it wasnt for the Beer !!! I promised to do some 'Planks' to my instructor Louise & above is a photo of me doing side planks in Prague Park. Embarrassing a little.

I'm Sewing !!!!

I'm having some time out from Scrapbooking (not intentional) I have made a couple of bags recently as i have been inspired by a friend Debbie. She's the queen of bag making .... might call her the Bag Lady from now on but she might not like that !

Above is a Easy Shopper bag,You can find instructions on IACW today. I'll add a picture of my shoulder Bag later. Great thing is I actually use these, Most of my crafts just go in a big box never to be seen again !

My Plate Stand.

I've always wanted to Drill plates for making Cake Stands and what greater time to do it than now with the Royal Wedding coming up this next week !
I bought plates from a Carboot sale for 10p each (i'm going to try Bone China ones next time) The Handle was from a well known Auction site. And heres a plate stand for the measley price of less than £3.00

NEC & a Canvas

I went to the NEC last weekend and created a Canvas in a class for www.fiskarettes.co.uk taught by the very talented SJ. I had a great day and used great Fiskars tools. There was a great atmosphere & you could be doing things just as nice away from the hustle & bustle of the crowds if you join up to become a Fiskarette :)
*** I will replace the above canvas with mine asap ... mine is in a safe place as i've been tidying up craft room. The above canvas is SJ the teachers :)

My little shop is coming together

Here's a few photos of 1/2 a cute little craft shop in Oakley Green Nurseries in Westerleigh, Bristol & it's all mine :) I still have a lot to do yet :(
I will let you know when Its all completed :)

Scrapbooking quite a bit !

I am on a roll Scrapbooking and have created quite a few lately, Here's 3.

I'm also extending my Craft shop and very excited about it but very busy. I'm in the process of painting walls & furniture and covering the floor. I will show photos when i'm done.

I have been really busy crafting the past week or so . Here's two of my products & I have lots more to come.

12 days of Christmas

I recently showed my interest in taking on online photography Christmas workshop starting the 1st of December and I was choosen ! I feel really privledges as there were sooooooooo many requests. So watch this space for my photos for the 12 Days of Christmas.
I'm hoping to learn something and have some nice Christmas photos in the process.
The first little bit of homework is to take a self portrait !!!! it's got to be Christmassy !!! I've got til the 1st Dec !!!
