I want to start blogging a little more. I don't seem to put anything I do on the net lately. Today is the first day I have created 3 l/os in one day for a very long time. So I have put one of the layouts on to get me started.

I am now officially a part of the New DT over at The Crafty garden's blog

It is very exciting and a great idea as I need to get back into Crafting again.I haven't done nearly as much crafting as I would of liked lately. I only have to post once a month...Which is ideal.
I love working to a Deadline & sure i'll be inspired by the other Fabby ladies on the DT too.

I have been looking at the Blog & there are some great challenges coming up.

Watch this space :)

Boot Camp , Prague & Planks

I just wanted to jot this down for my own reference I've started Bootcamp & i think i'm on my 6th session today.I went to Prague for my 40th Birthday last week. No kids (which was a little bit of a shame)but we walked so much they would of hated it, I ended up loosing 2lb whilst away but would of been a lot more if it wasnt for the Beer !!! I promised to do some 'Planks' to my instructor Louise & above is a photo of me doing side planks in Prague Park. Embarrassing a little.

I'm having some time out from Scrapbooking (not intentional) I have made a couple of bags recently as i have been inspired by a friend Debbie. She's the queen of bag making .... might call her the Bag Lady from now on but she might not like that !

Above is a Easy Shopper bag,You can find instructions on IACW today. I'll add a picture of my shoulder Bag later. Great thing is I actually use these, Most of my crafts just go in a big box never to be seen again !

My Plate Stand.

I've always wanted to Drill plates for making Cake Stands and what greater time to do it than now with the Royal Wedding coming up this next week !
I bought plates from a Carboot sale for 10p each (i'm going to try Bone China ones next time) The Handle was from a well known Auction site. And heres a plate stand for the measley price of less than £3.00

NEC & a Canvas

I went to the NEC last weekend and created a Canvas in a class for www.fiskarettes.co.uk taught by the very talented SJ. I had a great day and used great Fiskars tools. There was a great atmosphere & you could be doing things just as nice away from the hustle & bustle of the crowds if you join up to become a Fiskarette :)
*** I will replace the above canvas with mine asap ... mine is in a safe place as i've been tidying up craft room. The above canvas is SJ the teachers :)

Here's a few photos of 1/2 a cute little craft shop in Oakley Green Nurseries in Westerleigh, Bristol & it's all mine :) I still have a lot to do yet :(

I am on a roll Scrapbooking and have created quite a few lately, Here's 3.

I'm also extending my Craft shop and very excited about it but very busy. I'm in the process of painting walls & furniture and covering the floor. I will show photos when i'm done.

12 days of Christmas

I recently showed my interest in taking on online photography Christmas workshop starting the 1st of December and I was choosen ! I feel really privledges as there were sooooooooo many requests. So watch this space for my photos for the 12 Days of Christmas.
I'm hoping to learn something and have some nice Christmas photos in the process.
The first little bit of homework is to take a self portrait !!!! it's got to be Christmassy !!! I've got til the 1st Dec !!!

I have made a layout today for Halloween but I never had one piece of Halloween Stash or even a spooky piece of paper !
I made a flower using a Tag punch & a border Punch , Some dripping blood & a glitter Alphabet in red ! You can check out www.fiskarettes.co.uk if you want to see how I did this :)

Twilight crop class

I have taught a class at the Twilight crop on the first Wednesday of every week, 6.30 - 10.30 at Olveston school Nr Bristol. I run it with a few friends.
We were going to just get together once a month then decided it would be great for every crafter to come and join in & a good way to be Inspired & inspire.

Hope you like it ...it was a little bit of a struggle to teach as everyone seemed a little tired & we started the class later !
Keep a look out for Debbie Roberts Altered tin for the next class....i think it might even be Christmas themed. :)

Shimelle Lane teaching for Fiskarettes at NEC

I just thought if you are a Fiskarette and want to join in with a fabby class Shimelle Lane is teaching at the NEC November 6th you need to add a comment HERE expressing your interest. IACW Guest Designer

I was asked to be a guest designer on Its a Creative World . I had to make something with the theme of 'Acheivement'in mind. I thought i'ld start my Art Journal it's not the best thing in the world but it's my first attempt in creating a Art Journal and hopefully I'll grow and grow !

Some of the DT have made great examples too ranging from paper to Digi to Fabric. These Ladies are sooooo Inspirational and theres something New every day !!!!

Flower Embellishment

Afternoon xxx
I have published a Embellishment I made for Fiskarettes made with Fiskars Squeeze punches Circles X.L & Large. You'll need 8 Large Circles punched with the Large Circle Squeeze punch. One XL Circle punched with the XL Circle Squeeze punch, Some stick on gems, Glue dots, Ink (opt).

Pinch 7 of the smaller circles as I have done in the photo below…

Then fold back edges in the next photo below….

Next I’ve glued the petals around the base of the XL Circle (this just makes it easier to pick up and glue onto your project) forming a ring of petals. You will need lots of glue dots the big juicy ones are better seeing the petals are not flat.

Glue gems or pearls onto the last Circle (ink edges if wanted) Add lots of glue dots to the back and place onto the flower. Take the off cuts of the punch and roll round like a tight swiss roll….unravel a little and glue behind the flower.

Our NEW Twilight Crop & Craft.

We are really excited about our first ever crop and hope that it is an enjoyable friendly place to come and laugh,chat & be inspired and more importantly scrap on a evening. The crop is on Wed 19th MAY ~ 6.30 - 10pm at Olveston School.(outskirts of Bristol)It will be £5 for the crop , classes are extra. Light Refreshments available.

We will have a class at our first crop, Taught by by myself and we will also will be asking you to fill in a questionnaire to ask you what you would like to see at an evening crop in the future.

We will have a small selection of 12 by 12" papers and some card stock but we are thinking about having a shop in the future if it is viable.

As one persons 'junk' is often another person's 'treasure', if you have any scrapping supplies you would like to sell, please make sure it is clearly labelled with the price you would like and your name. Joy will be running the second hand table for the first half hour of the crop.

We are hoping to open the gates at 6.30 on the dot, as the school have informed me they have an after school club and need to ensure every child is off the premises before we open up the playground for parking. Please do not drive in the playground before 6:30 (there are places to wait in the layby outside if you are early.

Circle Maaaaaad

Here's a simple layout I've created using Circles cut with a Fiskars XL Squeeze circle punch...I just love the 3D effect. Probably add Journaling to this at a later date :)

Here's a little doll I made with a kit I bought. I say I made it but I did have lots of help from Lynne a friend because the instructions were awful & I am not a sewer! still think she needs a mouth. she's got beads in her bottom lol but that gives her a bit of weight. I had to sew a little cotton bag to put them in as we decided they might come out of the felt seams.

A what I called 1 hour project took all day :) But she's cute & my 4 yr old loves her (thankgoodness) :D

I have been having problems with my old Blog it keeps getting hacked into and i'm hacked off :) (excuse the saying)
So I am making a new blog and hoping to blog a little more as I've been a little naughty lately.
It might be a little boring atm but i'll be working on it to make it pretty in the next week or so.
